Types of Promotional Listings

1. Featured Listing

When you use a Featured Listing credit, your ad is displayed on the Shopandsell home page — the first place most visitors land. This gives your product maximum visibility and helps attract more buyers quickly.

• Displayed prominently on the home page.

• Great for sellers who want immediate exposure.

• Increases your chances of generating more inquiries and faster sales.

Example: If you have 20 Featured Listing credits, you can feature up to 20 different ads.

2. Urgent Listing (Flash Sale)

Urgent Listings are designed for sellers who need to sell quickly. These ads appear under a special Flash Sale section with a visible caption, making it clear to buyers that the item is priced to move fast.

• Shown on the home page under “Flash Sale.”

• Also listed on a dedicated Flash Sale page, where buyers specifically search for time-sensitive deals.

• A bold “Urgent” badge helps your ad stand out.

Example: If you have 10 Urgent Listing credits, you can mark 10 ads as Urgent.

3. Top Listing

Top Listings give you an advantage in search. When buyers search for products using keywords, your Top Listings appear before standard ads, ensuring your ad gets seen first.

• Prioritized placement in search results.

• Helps beat the competition for popular items.

• Perfect for categories with high competition.

Example: If you have 15 Top Listing credits, you can boost 15 ads to the top of search results.

4. Sponsored Ads

Sponsored Ads make your listing visually unmissable. Regardless of whether it’s Featured, Urgent, or Top, we apply a special highlight (orange background with red border) to your ad, clearly labeling it as “Sponsored.”

• Works for a single ad only (not multiple credits).

• Sold in day-based durations (e.g., 1-day sponsor, 2-day sponsor).

• Once used, the sponsorship expires after the selected duration.

• To sponsor again, you’ll need to purchase another Sponsor Add-on.

Example: If you purchase a 3-day Sponsored Ad add-on and select one of your ads, that ad will stay highlighted for three full days.

Understanding Credits

Credits are the backbone of how promotions work on Shopandsell. Each plan you purchase comes with a set of credits for:

• Post Limit Credits (the number of ads you can post).

• Featured Listing Credits.

• Urgent Listing Credits.

• Top Listing Credits.

Important:
You must always have Post Limit Credits available to use any promotional credits. For example:

• If you run out of Post Limit Credits, you cannot post new ads even if you still have Featured, Urgent, or Top Listing credits left.

• Post Limit Credits are required first, then you can apply promotions on top.

The Store Add-On lets you manage and promote multiple physical locations under one account. Perfect for businesses with more than one branch, franchise owners, or sellers who want to showcase availability across different locations.

How It Works:

• Add as many stores as you need (e.g., 5 stores = 5 store credits).

• Each store includes its name, address, and details.

• When posting an ad, simply tick the stores where the product is available.

• Buyers see exactly which locations carry your product, building trust and driving foot traffic.
